Travelling to Dublin
Dublin is so easy to get to. There are direct flights to Dublin from all major European cities and from the USA and Middle East.
Dublin is the base for the low fares airline Ryan air and the national airline Aer Lingus also offers excellent low price flights. London, Amsterdam and Paris are only 55 minutes away by air.
All students should obtain medical insurance in their own country before departure and students are recommended to take out travel insurance. If you take medicines directed by your doctor you may wish to bring these medicines with you to Ireland.
Students from EU countries do not need a visa to enter Ireland. Students from non-EU countries may need a student visa and should check with their nearest Irish Embassy before travelling.
